1. ABOUT THIS POLICY
1.1. I describe here how I process personal data and what rights and opportunites are availible to the persons whose data I process.
1.2. Additionally, I describe here how I use cookies in connection with the functioning of the website: www.jakubwiewiora.com.
1.3. This Policy fulfils of the obligation referred to in Article 13 (1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliment and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (RDPR).

2.1. I am an attorney-at-law and run a sole proprietorship under the bussines name „Kancelaria Radcy Prawnego Jakub Wiewióra”, NIP: 6332222219, address for service: ul. Stalowa 27/43, 03-425 Warszawa, Poland. I am a data controler within the meaning of GDPR.
2.2. In all matters, you can contact me electronically by sending a message to the following e-mail address: office@jakubwiewiora.com, as well as in writing to the above-mentioned address for service.
3. WHAT DATA I PROCESS AND ON WHAT LEGAL BASES
3.1. In connection with my business activity, I process the following personal data:
3.1.1. Contact information such as name and surname, e-mail address, mobile phone number, position and function and/or organization name.
3.1.2. Information on matters that have been communicated to me by my clients or people with whom I communicate,
3.1.3. Information on court, administrative and preparatory proceedings as well as investigations, to the extent necessary to conduct them,
3.1.4. Information from public sources such as Internet publications or professional social networks.
3.2. I process personal data for the following purposes:
3.2.1. Provision of legal advisory services and related communication, business management and administration, as well as fulfillment of legal obligations,
3.2.2. Communicating with potential customers, service providers, and others,
3.2.3. Pursuing a legitimate interest.
3.3. I process personal data on the following legal bases:
3.3.1. Processing is necessary for the performance of the agreement on the provision of legal advisory services or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract – Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR
3.3.2. Consent e.g. by voluntarily providing information for the purposes of processing indicated in clause 3.2. above – Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR,
3.3.3. Processing is necessary for the compliance with legal obligations – Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR,
3.3.4. Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests – Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
3.4. The legitimate interests is inter alia, excercise or defense against legal claims and all data processing related to the implementation of the purposes of the processing indicated in clause 3.2. above..
3.5. I do not process special categories of personal data, such as racial or ethnic origin, sexual orientation or medical condition.
3.6. In the event of a request for personal data, I will separately inform the data subject whether the provision of personal data is a statutory or contractual requirement or a condition for concluding a contract and whether the data subject is obliged to provide it and what are the possible consequences of not providing data.
4. TRANSFER OF DATA
4.1. The personal data that I process may be transferred to my partners to the extent necessary for the proper performance of the legal advisory service, i.e.:
4.1.1. zenbox sp. z o.o. (KRS: 0000414281) – providing hosting services for the website www.jakubwiewiora.com oraz e-mail services regarding office@jakubwiewiora.com e-mail address,
4.1.2. ifirma S.A. (KRS: 0000281947) – providing accounting services.
4.2. I do not transfer personal data for processing to entities outside the European Economic Area.
4.3. The personal data that I process, are being kept electronicaly on my devices, external servers of my partners and in part, in writing at the registered office of the Law Firm.
5. TERM OF PROCESSSING
5.1. The time of procesing of the personal date depends on the basis of the processing. In the event I process personal data on the basis of:
5.1.1. Processing is necessary for the performance of the agreement on the provision of legal advisory services or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract – I process personal date for the time neccessary to take requested steps or to all obligations under such agreement,
5.1.2. Consent – until it is withdrawn,
5.1.3. Processing is necessary for the compliance with the legal obligations – for the time necessary for the compliance with such obligations,
5.1.4. Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests – for the time of existance of the legitimate interest; in the event of the legitimate interest of excercise or defense against legal claims in connection with conluded agreement on providing legal advisory services for the time necessary for pursuing or defence against such claims.
5.2. After the time indicated above, the data that I process will be destroyed or deleted.
6. SAFETY OF DATA
6.1. I make every effort to prevent the disclosure of personal data that I process to unauthorized persons. I analyze the risk on an ongoing basis to ensure that personal data is safe and that its processing complies with the GDPR and other generally applicable laws.
6.2. All entities entrusted with the processing of personal data guarantee the application of appropriate data protection and security measures required by law
7. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
7.1. Data subject has a right to request information on the processing of data, obtain a copy, correct, delete, transfer and limit processing, as well as withdraw consent to processing.
7.2. In the case of data processing on the basis of our legitimate interest, the person whose data we process has the right to object to such processing.
7.3 If it is found that the processing of personal data violates the provisions on the protection of personal data, the person whose data we process may submit a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland. You can find all relevant information here: www.uodo.gov.pl.
8. COOKIES
8.1. Using the website www.jakubwiewiora.com does not currently involve the processing of any cookies.
9. CHANGES
9.1. I verify the correctness of this policy on an ongoing basis and I can change it at any time. Unless otherwise indicated by the changes made, they will take effect at the time of publication.
9.2. The las amendment of this Policy was made on 20 September 2022.
